The Sound of Omega was a commissioned piece by Omega, a luxury Swiss watchmaker as they prepared to unveil two new watches, The Speedmaster Chrono Chime and the Olympic 1932 Chrono Chime. Both pieces are works of art and an evolution in micro-acoustics and micro-engineering. In short, the brief was to compose music that closely resembled the chimes resonating within the acoustic chambers of these timepieces. The musical palette was inspired by the elegance and acoustic characteristics of these new releases which closely resembles the acoustics of a concert hall.
