Description:
It’s high strings vs. low strings in Fiddle Fight! In this engaging piece, sections play alternating phrases that combine to make fun fiddle-style melodies. Rhythms and notes are kept simple but, most importantly, this piece teaches beginners to listen to each other as they play – one of the most important early skills for students. While the music describes a friendly 'tug-of-war' between the sections, students will discover that they need to work together to make the piece work. This piece teaches valuable skills and will sound great on any concert program!
