The Plural of Blood score nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA)

Thrilled and excited to announce that my score to newly released short film, The Plural of Blood, has received a nomination from the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in the category of Short Film - Original Score.  The winner will be announced in Hollywood on Thursday, November 16th!Director Mary-Lyn Chambers and I started discussing the score months before principal photography began. She shared with me her ideas of what the score needed to feel like emotionally. I was able to take her ideas and suggestions and craft a score that uses child vocal solos, women's choir, and synthesized instruments to evoke feelings of interconnectivity and turmoil between our characters as we tell their intricate story.[two_third_last]I'm truly honored to have played a small part in helping tell the film's story through the score.Huge thanks to my music team:Child soloistDalia PuchaltWomen's choirAyana HavivElyse WillisAleta BraxtonClydene JacksonScore MixerLes BrockmannComposer Assistant/Music PrepDaniel TeodoroA big thank you to our producers Monica Lawson and Roxy Shih for all their wonderful support.
