Thrilled and excited to announce that my score to newly released short film, The Plural of Blood, has received a nomination from the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in the category of Short Film - Original Score.  The winner will be announced in Hollywood on Thursday, November 16th!Director Mary-Lyn Chambers and I started discussing the score months before principal photography began. She shared with me her ideas of what the score needed to feel like emotionally. I was able to take her ideas and suggestions and craft a score that uses child vocal solos, women's choir, and synthesized instruments to evoke feelings of interconnectivity and turmoil between our characters as we tell their intricate story.

I'm truly honored to have played a small part in helping tell the film's story through the score.

Huge thanks to my music team:

Child soloist Dalia Puchalt

Women's choir:
Ayana Haviv, Elyse Willis, Aleta Braxton, Clydene Jackson
Score Mixer
Les Brockmann
Composer Assistant/Music Prep
Daniel Teodoro

A big thank you to our producers Monica Lawson and Roxy Shih for all their wonderful support. Making a film is a team effort and I could not be happier with our family!
