Score to DEBRIS

I'm super excited to announce that I'm currently working alongside Mary-Lyn Chambers on her dramatic short, DEBRIS.  Mary-Lyn and I met through Film Independent/Project Involve and ASCAP.  Both organizations connect filmmakers with composers and composers with filmmakers.DEBRIS follows 12-year-old Ana, escaping violence and exploitation by her father, arriving at a US border detention center with nothing but the clothes on her back, her mute and fragile brother and a treasured family music box - She thought the worst was behind them, but Ana learns that their journey for freedom has just begun.  At its core, Debris is about survival, family, sacrifice, freedom, and love. On this score, we will feature two fabulous musicians:

• Ayana Haviv, vocalist
• Karen Garrity, solo cello
